Song Lyrics License Contract

A License for Use of Song Lyrics is between a lyricist (the "licensee") and a company who desires to license, market and promote the song lyrics. The license lays out  specifics of the arrangement including  granting the lyrics license, purposes which the lyrics may be used and any restrictions on usage of the lyrics. It also lays out the license fee which will be paid and that the parties are considered as independent contractors.
